During all the Holiday Commotion
Dear mom,
I love being home for the holidays. I love all of our traditions. Going to church Christmas Eve, eating Christmas Eve dinner at the Japanese Steakhouse, spending time with family and friends. I love waking up early and opening our presents from "Santa."
I loved this year we spent Christmas night at the Disney hotel and got to experience Disney's new Skyliner. Thank you for making that happen. Thank you for making it all happen. Thank you for making sure we are always making the best memories.
Our friends referred to you as the "unofficial mayor of Clermont," and you certainly honored that title this month. I guess I had forgotten about your ability to always have something planned. I was impressed by your ability to go to so many social events in one month with so many different groups of people. I am amazed by your ability to still function cheerfully between it all. Within a week, the introvert within me needed to refuel, but your social clock never ran out.
We did so much in just this one month I can't even recall all of the fun. From making gingerbread houses, to party hopping, to mini golfing, to campfires, to shopping, to reading, to baking, to breakfast dates, to watching football, to ringing in the new year, and everything in between. You certainly made sure we remained occupied and far from boredom.
I love you the most, even when you overbook the calendar.
